For one of our clients, an uniquely positioned offshore company specialised in the design and manufacturing of heavy construction equipment, we are searching for a Senior Control Systems Engineer. The Control Systems Department is responsible for all system controls and connections (to, for example, ship management systems) of all equipment. All software is developed and tested in-house and commissioned on location.

As a Control Systems Engineer, you are involved in all project phases, from the project kick-off up to the commissioning of the installation at location. You will manage the project team during larger projects. You then consult with clients on requirements, you set down the system architecture and you decide on the appropriate hardware and software. In addition, you write the specifications.

Skills and experience:

knowledge of PLC and SCADA and affinity with the afore-mentioned professional fields. Experience with C/C ++ programming is a recommendation. Some relevant work experience is a plus but not a must. As a Senior Control Systems Engineer you have at least 3 years relevant work experience and you are familiar with programming PLCs, micro controllers (C/C++), SCADA. You have knowledge of industrial networks. Both positions require a HTS / TU degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar. You should have a practical disposition, and since our installations need to be put into operation both in the Netherlands and abroad, travelling should not be a problem. Fluency in Dutch and English.
