For our client we are searching for an experienced HSE specialist.

You will be responsible for:

• Keeping the company up to date with the latest health and safety requirements in the renewable energy sector.
• Ensure companies compliance with all health and safety requirements; advise on the implementation of Regulatory requirements.
• Ensuring that all offshore construction and related activities are carried out in a safe manner, in adherence to the companies safety policies, procedures, statutory regulations and guidelines.
• Perform and provide feedback/ guidance on risk assessments
• Provide support for incident investigations
• Develop and support health and safety campaigns

Skills and experience:

• Health & Safety experience on offshore construction projects.
• Preferably an engineering background / experience
• Preferably knowledge of ISO 9001 and 14001
• Excellent communication/presentation skills with all internal – external stakeholders
• A recognized safety qualification
• Excellent report writing skills
• Self motivated and being able to work independently
• Physically fit and able to undertake offshore visits a.o. climbing at heights, helicopter/boat transfer
