Our client, an independent renewable energy consultancy serving the wind, marine and solar sectors worldwide and widely recognised as the leading authority in the wind energy sector is searching for a Wind turbine loads/design engineer.. Our client offers a competitive salary, comprehensive in-house training and support in career development.

You will be responsible for:

• Numerical modelling.
• Design and loads calculations.
• Onshore and offshore wind turbine design.
• Concept design studies.
• Client visits.
• Opportunity to provide software training to clients in BLADED.

Skills, Experience, profile:

• At least an upper second class degree (or equivalent) in engineering, mathematics or physics.
• Fresh graduate or a couple of years experience in the wind energy sector.
• A good understanding of physics and mechanical engineering fundamentals within the wind industry.
• Good organisational and communication skills with the ability to work in a multi-disciplined team.
• The ability to work to deadlines.
• Report writing experience.
• A willingness to travel abroad.
• The ability to plan and organise own workload.
