Our client, a successful consultancy firm in the renewable energy sector is searching for a Control & Electrical Engineer for the company’s Wind Turbine Design Group. Individuals in this role will be involved in a range of turbine design projects working within the control systems team. Reporting to the head of the Control group, you will be responsible for:

• Wind and marine current turbine controller software design and implementation;
• Review and specification of control system hardware design;
• Specification and creation of control system test plans;
• Wind and marine control system concept design studies;
• Research and development.

Skills and Experience:

• A degree in engineering, mathematics or physics;
• An aptitude for software design and experience with C, C++ or Java
• Good organizational and communication skills with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team;
• The ability to work under commercial pressure;
• The ability to speak and write fluently in English;
• A willingness to travel within Europe and worldwide on a frequent basis.
