Our client, a successful manufacturer of wind turbines is searching for an experienced Wind Blade lead Structural Engineer

You will be responsible for:
- Work with the blade aero, loads, and manufacturing engineers to create optimal designs for new products;
- Interpret industry specifications and work with testing and certification organizations for design validation;
- Work with team to reduce product costs;
- Support customers through root cause failure analysis and manufacturing quality issue solutions;
- Work with Global Research and Advanced Technology teams to develop new design and fabrication technologies for wind turbine blades;
- A passion for achieving maximum product reliability and customer satisfaction is essential;
- Some travel is required in this position.
Skills and Experience:
- BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Composites Engineering;
- Minimum 3+ years experience with FE Analysis of composite structures;
- Minimum 5+ years engineering work experience;
- MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Composites Engineering;
- Six Sigma training or certificate;
- Working knowledge of aeronautical principles, static and dynamic loading;
- Experience with wind turbine technologies or composite materials a plus;
- Experience in integration and optimization of tools;
- Language skills: Fluent in English (technical writing and speech);
- Ability to work in a matrix team environment;
- Adaptable to dynamic environment/Team player;
- Unyielding commitment to integrity.
