Eolic market situation is being discussed in the AEE Technical Seminars (Madrid 4th-7th October)
Owners’ Eolic Association (AEE) has organized the AEE Technical Seminars next October. During these seasons the situation of the eolic market is going to be analysed, paying special attention in nine subjects: Regulation, Supply chain, Grid integration, Operation and maintenance, Availability of the eolic farms, Transport and logistic, Training and employment, Environment and New materials and process automatization.
This year appointment is being in
Spain is the first country in terms of adopted windmills in the contest “Support a windmill”, which has been organized by the European Wind Energy Association. Up to now, 261 windmills has been adopted in
If you want, you can support your own windmill from whatever European eolic farm in the following webpage: www.ewea.org/freshair.
Nordex wind power orders from core markets

New business continues to pick up at Nordex. The wind turbines manufacturer has now obtained new orders in two major markets. In
The wind energy portuguese order is for ten N90/2300 wind turbines in the “Hot Climate” version for the “S. Macário II” wind farm, which Nordex will be installing on a turnkey basis. The wind farm is being built in the North of Portugal in the Serra de Montemuro. The expected annual energy yield amounts to more than 72 gigawatt hours.
23 wind farms are waiting for the opening of the Navarra’s eolic market
If the legal framework does not change in Navarra, most of the 23 wind farms can be hardly set up before 2014, except for two Acciona’s experimental farms which are already connected.
The Innovation adviser of the Navarra government, José Mª Roig, admited the existence of several enviroment proceedings: 5 of Acciona (94,5 MW), 5 of Eolica Navarra (180 MW), 9 of Gamesa (292 MW) and 4 of Mtorres (63 MW).
In spite of the Navarra government has unlocked the installation of wind farms, there are still two troubles, one physical and other legal. First one is due to the limited grid capacity, whereas the legal aspect is the farms has to be enrolled in a preassignment state register, if they want to shell the energy at the subsidized price and the quote is closed till 2013.

The windmill will stay in the region during at least five years, and its installation is framed in a research project. This is the first time that the danish company sets up a prototype of the last model V112 abroad.

Barlovento, the spanish consulting of renewable energies, is thrusting the remote detection technology in the windmill farm planning
Barlovento has been a driver of the use of Triton a remote perception system manufactured by Second Wind. These systems have been used for doing eolic assessing in rumanian and spanish wind farms.
The accuracy of this system supplies a detailed profile of the wind flow. Thanks to that, a forecasting of the farm performance and how wind changes can affect to the rotor efficiency, can be carried out.
