”Lumbier supports Acciona team”, so Lumbier mayor, Mauro Gogorcena, assured during the inauguration of the local facilities of blade manufacturing. Acciona Blades already counts with 90 employees and reach 148 in September. Currently Lumbier factory produces 34 and 37,5 meters long blades for AW-1500 windmills, but the factory is ready to be enlarged in order to manufacture 53,2 and 56,7 m long blades for AW-3000 windmill.

Gamesa gives up the negotiation with Bard and decides developing its own offshore master plan.
Gamesa is already working in two offshore platforms of 5 MW and 6/7 MW, that will be ready in 2013 and 2015 respectively, for two planned tenders in the North of Europe.
Vestas starts moving to Cantabria the prototype of its last V112 windmill.
It is the fist time out of Denmark that Vestas installs a prototype of its last model V112 – 3 MW. The prototype is being installed in Campoo de Enmedio (Cantabria), exactly in the Cotio hill of Celada-Malantes. Apia XXI group is the responsible of the engineering and construction works of this experimental eolic farm, which are necessary for the installation and running of the V112 prototype.
Satisfaction because of the new eolic legislation in Aragon
Association of Eolic Energy Promoters (AEA) assesses positively the recent approval of the 124/2010 Decree, by means of the priority procedures and installation authorizations of eolic electric energy in Aragon are controlled.
This fact helps to reactivate the aragonian eolic market, has been locked in the last years. This Decree allows to install futher 1000 MW eolic energy. Aragon has currently 1731 MW of eolic energy, placed this community in the fifth position of the national ranking.

Eighteen business consortiums bid up in the Catalonian eolic macro-tender
The Economy Departament of the Generalitat shown yesterday the offers which were Priority Development Zones (ZDP) of the catalonian eolic energy. This process brings to the market 769 MW and requires a global investment of 1200 millions of euros.
A total of eighteen business groups have formalized 54 offers, it means eight-times the offered megawatts.

A new mono blade windmill is set up in Soria.
The 250 KW windmill, that has been set up in the “Centro de Desarrollo de Energías Renovables” (CEDER-CIEMAT) of Soria, incorporates advanced technologies and is integrated in SINTER. SINTER is a research project that is supported by the “Plan E” of the Science and Innovation Department. The new windmill design guarantee a renewable production and an improvement in the net conditions.
Balear Goverment launchs eolic farm projects in Sant Llorenç y Manacor
The responsible of the balear industry department ensures that are dealing with small farms, having four or five windmills, similar to the installed in Milà de Maó. They do not agree with the peninsular farm model, where a high number of windmills are installed. The planned investment is of 300000 euros and the farm capacity around 3.7 MW.
E.ON inaugurates the biggest eolic farm in the south of Portugal
The eolic farm in Barao of San Joao in the village of Lagos (Portugal) is already running. The act has been presided by the economy minister, Jose Antonio da Silva, and the E.ON president, Miguel Antoñazas.
The farm has a pioneer radar system which used NASA technology to detect anticipately the presence of migratory birds and stay their trajectory.
